Running is the best exercise for staying in shape because it is both fun and challenging. Khemjira Klongsanun, a die-hard sports enthusiast from Bangkok, Thailand, is well known of this and has made the effort to participate in a variety of marathons, including professional ones, in recent years.
Khemjira has been motivated by her competitive nature since she was a small child. Still, for somebody like Khemjira, a king’s gesture is more important than anything else. She just demonstrated to the entire globe, when racing inside a local marathon that humanism triumphs over competition.
Khemjira was completing a 26-mile marathon through Bangkok’s streets when she noticed something heartbreaking on the side of the road. She went barely seven miles into her run until she came across a lone puppy. Her mother were nowhere to be found, so she knew she just can not let her go. It was only a matter of time before she and her lovely friend kept going. In order to complete the remaining 19 miles, the nice mother carries the little puppy in her arms. She didn’t left her on the road.
After completing the marathon this cute girl came to the place where she found this cute baby to find for any evidence of her mother, or any of her other gurdians, in the area. When the young one showed there, it was clear that she was there alone. It was at this point that Khemjira understood she had not only finished the race, but had also gained a lifelong friend.
Finally, Khemjira brought this puppy back to her house. For now, the two of them are inseparable: Nom Chom, as she was affectionately known.
